Arkansas High School Basketball - Nemo Vista holds off Timbo
November 9, 2023: Timbo, AR 72680 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Nemo Vista Red Hawks (Center Ridge, AR) and the host Timbo Tigers (Timbo, AR), saw Nemo Vista's basketball squad hold off Timbo by a tally of 63-60.
With the victory, Nemo Vista improves its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Red Hawks host Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR) to confront the Rebels in a 1A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, November 14. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Sacred Heart lost 73-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Atkins (Atkins, AR)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Kingston Yellowjackets (Kingston, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 11. Timbo will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 68-56 non-league loss to Ozark Catholic Academy (Springdale, AR).
