The Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Rocky Ford Meloneers (Rocky Ford, CO), 60-9 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Thunderbolts (3-0) will now prepare for their test against La Junta (La Junta, CO). The Tigers go into the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, La Junta walloped Custer County (Westcliffe, CO), 45-31, in a non-league test.

The Meloneers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Crowley County for a 3A/2A Santa Fe test on Tuesday, December 5.
