The Ridgway Elker basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Clarion Area Bobcats to 22 in the Elker non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Elker now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smethport for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10.

The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Clarion (Tionesta, PA). The Wolves enter the Keystone Shortway contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, North Clarion was routed by Clearfield (Clearfield, PA), 49-37, in a non-league contest.
