Virginia High School Basketball - Edison fells West Potomac
December 2, 2023: Alexandria, VA 22307 Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA), 57-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Edison upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Centreville (Clifton, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Centreville won 66-26 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Osbourn Park Yellowjackets (Manassas, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. West Potomac will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 59-17 non-league win over Potomac Senior (Dumfries, VA).
