Virginia High School Basketball - Centreville nips Edison
December 4, 2023: Clifton, VA 20124 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Centreville Wildcats (Clifton, VA) and the visiting Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA), saw Centreville's basketball squad hold off Edison by a tally of 56-53.
With the victory, Centreville improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Annandale (Annandale, VA) to play the Atoms in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Atoms come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Annandale won 53-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Edison will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 42-34 non-league loss to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA).
