December 2, 2023: Riesel, TX 76682 Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Granger Lions (Granger, TX), 49-14 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Riesel upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Indians host Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Blooming Grove won 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Dallas, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Moody Bearcats (Moody, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Granger will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 48-28 non-league loss to Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX).
