December 2, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23462 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Western Branch's basketball squad overcome Catholic by a tally of 47-38.
With the victory, Western Branch improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bruins host Manor (Portsmouth, VA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Crusaders play the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA) in a challenge, on Monday, December 4. Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 64-34 non-league win over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA).
