Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 62-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Norfolk Collegiate upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Mighty Oaks travel to Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA) to play the Mighty Bookers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Mighty Bookers come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bruins play the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Western Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
