December 2, 2024: Poyen, AR 72128 The Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR) basketball were winner over the visiting Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR), 60-40 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Indians now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Fountain Lake for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 5. Poyen will play a Cobras team coming off a 56-37 non-league win over Harding Academy (Searcy, AR). The Cobras record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Mt. Vernon-Enola falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR) to play the Cobras in a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. The Cobras go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Fountain Lake won 64-30 in their recent non-league bout against Smackover (Smackover, AR)
