December 2, 2024: Rose Hill, NC 28458 The Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), 45-22 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host South Brunswick for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. Union will play a Cougars team coming off a 44-35 non-league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Douglas Byrd drops to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to face the Trojans in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 3.
