Arizona High School Basketball - Catalina succumbs to Willcox

December 2, 2025: Willcox, AZ 85643

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Willcox Cowboys (Willcox, AZ) basketball squad defeated the visiting Catalina Trojans (Tucson, AZ), by a final score of 51-31.

Next, the Cowboys clash with the Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 4. Willcox will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 65-60 non-league loss to Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ).

With the loss, Catalina falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Globe (Globe, AZ) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 9. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-7. Globe won 71-33 in their recent non-league test against ALA - Anthem South (Florence, AZ)
