The Challenger Firebirds basketball squad (Hickory, NC), lost 66-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs (Nebo, NC)

With the victory, Nebo Crossing Academy advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC) to meet the Warriors in a Western Piedmont battle on Monday, December 8. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 6-2. Community Christian Academy won 79-65 in their recent league contest against Challenger (Hickory, NC)

In their next game, the Firebirds battle the Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC) in a Western Piedmont contest, on Thursday, December 4. Challenger will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 67-63 league loss to Christian Family Academy (Conover, NC).
