December 2, 2025: Dike, IA 50624 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) and the visiting Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA), observed Dike-New Hartford's basketball team overcome Hudson by a score of 50-41.
The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Grundy Center thwarted South Hardin (Eldora, IA), 49-40, in a league battle.
The Pirates now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gladbrook-Reinbeck for a non-league battle on Friday, December 5. Hudson will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 78-49 league loss to East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.
