John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX) backers were thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team bounce the host Savio Eagles (Austin, TX), 90-64 in a non-league game.

The Guardians now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Crockett for a non-league game on Thursday, December 4. John Paul II will confront a Cougars team coming off a 63-49 non-league loss to Lockhart (Lockhart, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.
