Georgia High School Basketball - Lamar County overwhelms Twiggs County
December 2, 2025: Barnesville, GA 30204 The Lamar County Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Twiggs County Cobras to 29 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Jackson for a non-league game on Friday, December 5. Lamar County will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Twiggs County drops to 0-2 on the year. The Cobras host Stratford Academy (Macon, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, December 4.
