North Carolina High School Basketball - West Charlotte holds off Berry

The West Charlotte Lions basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Berry Cardinals to 64 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Mecklenburg for a non-league game on Friday, December 5. West Charlotte will confront a Hawks team coming off a 63-58 non-league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Berry falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC) to clash with the Ravens in a non-league outing on Friday, December 5. The Ravens enter the outing with a record of 3-4. Rocky River lost 56-50 in their recent non-league outing against Garinger (Charlotte, NC)
