December 5, 2025: Mint Hill, NC 28217 The Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) basketball edged the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), 58-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A bout on Friday, December 12. Berry will play a Wolverines team coming off a 94-68 non-league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Rocky River falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, December 12. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 6-1. Mooresville won 67-56 in their recent non-league test against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)
