December 2, 2025: Due West, SC 29639 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Crescent Tigers (Iva, SC) and the host Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC), observed Crescent's basketball team overwhelm Dixie by a score of 61-28.
With the victory, Crescent advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Stephens County (Toccoa, GA) to meet the Indians in a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 3. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 1-3. Stephens County lost 50-36 in their recent non-league battle against West-Oak (Westminster, SC)
The Hornets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Thornwell for a A Region 1 challenge on Friday, December 5. Dixie will battle a Saints team coming off a 54-14 non-league loss to Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
