The Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH) basketball edged the host Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH), 53-49 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Point for a Ohio Valley bout on Friday, December 5. Dawson-Bryant will play a Pointers team coming off a 79-14 league loss to Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Pointers record now stands at 0-2.
