Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) and the visiting Des Moines North Polar Bears (Des Moines, IA), saw Johnston's basketball squad wallop Des Moines North by a tally of 72-43.

With the victory, Johnston improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Dragons host Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 21. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
