Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Forsan Buffaloes (Forsan, TX), 62-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sands upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to New Home (New Home, TX) to play the Leopards in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 15-4.

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Wink Wildcats (Wink, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Forsan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
