In Monday's league outing, the Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), by a count of 48-33.

The Wildcats (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Lions go into the Illinois Central 8 outing with a 5-7 record.

The Comets now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to IC Catholic Prep for a non-league outing on Monday, December 27. Reed-Custer will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 48-42 league loss to St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Knights record now stands at 7-5.
