Massachusetts High School Basketball - New Bedford crushes Barnstable
December 20, 2022: New Bedford, MA 02740 New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA), 82-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Bedford upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Whalers host Foxborough (Foxborough, MA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 23. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Foxborough won 72-52 in their recent non-league bout against Milton (Milton, MA)
Next up, the Red Hawks clash with the Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Barnstable will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Whalers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 60-58 non-league loss to Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA).
