Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) and the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), saw Canyon View's basketball squad wallop La Joya Community by a tally of 96-42.

With the victory, Canyon View improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) to confront the Vipers in a 5A Desert West challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Vipers come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Verrado won 69-65 in their recent non-league challenge against North (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Fighting Lobos confront the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Desert West challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. La Joya Community will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
