Kentucky High School Basketball - Knox Central ripped by Cooper
December 20, 2022: Barbourville, KY 40906 The Cooper Jaguars basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Knox Central Panthers to 31 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Butler County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Cooper will battle a Bears team coming off a 74-60 non-league win over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Bears record now stands at 7-4.
The Panthers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats enter the District 52 contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Bell County was routed by Owen County (Owenton, KY), 72-65, in a non-league contest.
