Pasadena Memorial Mavericks (Pasadena, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dobie Longhorns (Houston, TX), 72-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Pasadena Memorial upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Deer Park (Deer Park, TX) to play the Deer in a 6A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Deer go into the bout with a record of 16-5.

Next up, the Longhorns play the Channelview Falcons (Channelview, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Dobie will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
