Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wittenberg-Birnamwood ripped by Northland Pines
December 20, 2022: Eagle River, WI 54521 The Northland Pines Eagles basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers to 40 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marinette for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Northland Pines will meet a Marines team coming off a 71-50 non-league loss to Bonduel (Bonduel, WI). The Marines record now stands at 0-7.
The Chargers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Merrill (Merrill, WI). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Merrill triumphed over Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI), 55-33, in a non-league contest.
