Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wittenberg-Birnamwood falls to Merrill
February 13, 2023: Merrill, WI 54452 In Monday's non-league bout, the host Merrill Bluejays basketball squad scored a nice 62-42 win over the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers.
With the win, Merrill upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) to play the Red Raiders in a Wisconsin Valley bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln lost 57-50 in their recent non-league bout against La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI)
Next up, the Chargers play the Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Wittenberg-Birnamwood will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 69-55 non-league win over Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI).
