Missouri High School Basketball - Slater knocked off by Northwest
December 20, 2022: Slater, MO 65349 The Northwest Mustangs basketball team scored 84 points and held the host Slater Wildcats to 73 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jamestown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Northwest will battle a team coming off a 46-39 non-league win over New Bloomfield (New Bloomfield, MO). The record now stands at 3-3.
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Smithton (Smithton, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Smithton was defeated by Northwest (Hughesville, MO), 59-30, in a non-league contest.
