In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Wake Forest Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 84-53 triumph over the Vance County Vipers.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 28. Wake Forest will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 6-3 record after their 57-52 non-league loss to Person (Roxboro, NC).
