The Cougars now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Mesa for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 5. Cibola will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 83-39 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-0.
The Vikings (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Atrisco Heritage Academy trounced Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 64-28, in a non-league battle.
