Kansas High School Basketball - Concordia overwhelmed by Clay Center
December 20, 2022: Clay Center, KS 67432 The Clay Center Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Concordia Panthers to 27 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapman for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Clay Center will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 37-34 non-league loss to Abilene (Abilene, KS). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Concordia moves to 1-5 on the year. The Panthers host Republic County (Belleville, KS) to meet the Buffaloes in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 3. The Buffaloes enter the match with a record of 0-5. Republic County lost 55-40 in their recent league match against Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS)
