In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), by a count of 59-43.

The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Celtics go into the non-league outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Providence Catholic defeated IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL), 65-35, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now hold a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Nazareth Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 27. Metea Valley will clash with a Roadrunners squad coming off a 63-25 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 10-1.
