Virginia High School Basketball - Gate City overwhelms Ridgeview
December 20, 2022: Gate City, VA 24251 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) and the visiting Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA), saw Gate City's basketball squad wallop Ridgeview by a tally of 52-24.
With the victory, Gate City improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to John Battle (Bristol, VA) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Wolfpack play the Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 26. Ridgeview will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 40-35 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, VA).
