Alabama High School Basketball - Appalachian nudges Piedmont
December 20, 2023: Oneonta, AL 35121 Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL), 68-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Appalachian upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Eagles host Comer (Sylacauga, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Comer won 64-53 in their recent non-league bout against Southeastern (Remlap, AL)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 64-53 non-league loss to Comer (Sylacauga, AL).
