Alabama High School Basketball - Appalachian nips Southeastern
January 5, 2024: Oneonta, AL 35121 Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL), 73-68 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Appalachian upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cleveland (Cleveland, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-11. Cleveland lost 64-28 in their recent league bout against Cold Springs (Bremen, AL)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Altamont Knights (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Southeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 71-55 league win over Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL).
