Delaware High School Basketball - Salesianum nips Appoquinimink
December 20, 2023: West Middletown, DE 19709 Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE), 74-71 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Salesianum upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Sallies travel to College Achieve (Asbury Park, NJ) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 2-1. College Achieve lost 57-46 in their recent non-league bout against Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Appoquinimink will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 59-54 non-league loss to East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA).
