December 30, 2023: West Middletown, DE 19709 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Elizabeth Vikings (Wilmington, DE) and the host Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE), saw St. Elizabeth's basketball squad wallop Appoquinimink by a tally of 71-38.
With the victory, St. Elizabeth improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.
Next up, the Jaguars confront the William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - A challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Appoquinimink will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Colonials come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 85-67 non-league loss to St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE).
