Kentucky High School Basketball - Clinton County overwhelmed by Wayne County
December 20, 2023: Albany, KY 42602 The Wayne County Cardinals basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Clinton County Bulldogs to 47 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knox Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Wayne County will battle a Panthers team coming off a 76-54 non-league win over Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
The Bulldogs (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Casey County was routed by Knox Central (Barbourville, KY), 76-54, in a non-league contest.
