Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) and the visiting Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC), saw Lakewood's basketball squad overcome Lejeune by a tally of 65-56.

With the victory, Lakewood improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Leopards host South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. South Lenoir lost 71-52 in their recent league challenge against Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC)

Next up, the Devil Pups confront the Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Lejeune will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 54-51 non-league win over East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).
