December 20, 2023: North Providence, RI 02904 The North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) basketball crushed the visiting Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), 60-37 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Quakers go into the Division 3 test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Moses Brown walloped West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 55-49, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host South Kingstown for a non-league test on Friday, December 22. Scituate will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 74-59 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Rebels record now stands at 4-1.
