Oregon High School Basketball - Silverton holds off Sprague
December 20, 2023: Silverton, OR 97381 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Silverton Foxes (Silverton, OR) and the visiting Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR), saw Silverton's basketball squad hold off Sprague by a tally of 53-50.
With the victory, Silverton improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR) to confront the Warriors in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Olympians confront the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Sprague will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Irish come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 78-50 non-league win over Wells (Portland, OR).
