Oregon High School Basketball - West Salem thwarts Sprague
January 20, 2024: Salem, OR 97304 The West Salem Titans (Salem, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR), 66-56 in Saturday's league test.
The Titans (14-2) will now prepare for their test against North Salem (Salem, OR). The Vikings go into the 6A Central Valley test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, North Salem went down by South Salem (Salem, OR), 90-65, in a league test.
The Olympians now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host McNary for a 6A Central Valley test on Tuesday, January 23. Sprague will encounter a Celtics squad coming off a 51-49 league win over South Salem (Salem, OR). The Celtics record now stands at 10-6.
