Oregon High School Basketball - Sprague overwhelms South Salem
January 30, 2024: Salem, OR 97302 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) and the visiting South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR), saw Sprague's basketball squad wallop South Salem by a tally of 86-61.
With the victory, Sprague improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Olympians host West Salem (Salem, OR) to confront the Titans in a 6A Central Valley challenge on Friday, February 2. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 17-2. West Salem won 79-74 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty (Hillsboro, OR)
Next up, the Saxons confront the McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) in a 6A Central Valley challenge, on Friday, February 2. South Salem will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Celtics come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 54-42 league win over North Salem (Salem, OR).
