Oregon High School Basketball - Sprague over South Salem
February 16, 2024: Salem, OR 97302 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) and the host South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR), saw Sprague's basketball squad overcome South Salem by a tally of 73-59.
With the victory, Sprague improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Olympians host West Salem (Salem, OR) to play the Titans in a 6A Central Valley challenge on Friday, February 23. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 19-4.
Next up, the Saxons play the North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR) in a 6A Central Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. South Salem will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-23 record after their 50-33 league loss to McNary (Keizer, OR).
