The Greenbrier West Cavaliers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats to 18 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyoming East for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 26. Greenbrier West will battle a Warriors team coming off a 66-56 non-league loss to East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.

The Wildcats (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV). The Crusaders enter the Coalfield A contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Greater Beckley Christian was routed by Mount Hope Christian Academy (Mount Hope, WV), 57-34, in a league contest.
