The McGuffey Highlanders basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Rochester Rams to 55 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmichaels for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. McGuffey will battle a Mighty Mikes team coming off a 53-20 non-league loss to Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA). The Mighty Mikes record now stands at 1-6.

The Rams (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Moon Area prevailed over Freedom Area (Freedom, PA), 71-45, in a non-league contest.
