New Jersey High School Basketball - Newton overwhelms Sussex County Tech
December 20, 2023: Newton, NJ 07860 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) and the visiting Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ), saw Newton's basketball squad wallop Sussex County Tech by a tally of 61-18.
With the victory, Newton improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22.
