Florida High School Basketball - Hernando routs Academy at the Lakes

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Hernando Leopards basketball team scored a big 65-40 triumph over the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats.

The Leopards (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL). The Hurricanes go into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic smashed Seven Rivers Christian (Lecanto, FL), 59-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Academy at the Lakes will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
