In Friday's league contest, the host Foster Falcons basketball team scored a good 60-48 triumph over the Alief Elsik Rams.

The Falcons (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Roughnecks go into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Columbia was topped by Wharton (Wharton, TX), 58-57, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams confront the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Alief Elsik will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 69-62 league loss to Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX).
